Waste materials found in drains and sewage systems are mainly composed of the organic constituents of the food: carbohydrates, proteins, fats and fibers. The natural distribution of these organic wastes depends on the bacteria. Bacteria can be divided into two groups: aerobic, which require oxygen for their biological processes, and anaerobic, which do not require it. Most systems that require both the presence and absence of air, both types of bacteria are necessary for the digestion and decomposition of waste. The waste material is formed first by insoluble solids or colloidal suspensions which the bacteria can not ingest. FOSEC ZYMA contains several enzymes that break and solubilize waste materials by providing the necessary food for the multiplication and rapid growth of bacteria.
Amylases : These enzymes break down the materials contained in the starch and convert them into water-soluble products. Vegetables and grains contain significant amounts of starch. The typical FOSEC ZYMA assay is 16,000 units of Maltose / g. habitually.

FOSEC ZYMA is a valuable auxiliary in any system designed for the treatment of organic waste materials and can be used in wastewater treatment facilities of municipalities as well as in private industry. Treatment systems range from complicated treatments to simple lagoons and settling tanks. Often, the residue consists of one or two materials and the volume and flow of these systems varies considerably. It is difficult to make specific recommendations for the use of FOSEC ZYMA because there are factors that go beyond our control. As a starting point in the evaluation of FOSEC ZYMA we recommend the following:
